Jarren Kennedy, School Operations Manager
Hello students and staff, my name is Jarren Kennedy and I am very excited to join the HOPE family. A little about me I am from St Paul, MN but I have been living in Milwaukee the past five years. I attended Wisconsin Lutheran College and received my business marketing degree in 2020. In my previous role I was a manager with Stanley Steemer. I understand what it takes to keep an organization operating at peak performance and that is what I plan on doing for HOPE as the High School’s SOM. I am a huge sports fan and that is what you can find me watching when I am not at school or the gym. Looking forward to getting to know you all throughout this school year!
Josh Gee, Dean of College Counseling and Athletics Director
Joshua Gee will be entering his 4th year in education this school year as he serves as the Dean of College Counseling and the Athletic Director. Joshua works closely with seniors and plays a critical role in getting them into college and job placements. His experience in education includes recruitment, financial aid, and currently being a counselor. Joshua favorite part of the job is exposing students to not only college but showing them that if you work hard you can achieve all your goals no matter where you come from. In the summer of 2021, Joshua completed his master’s at Prairie View A&M University, where he completed his MSED in Educational Leadership. Joshua plans to one day be a principal and a president of an HBCU college while coaching basketball.
Artisha Williams, College and Career Counselor
Education has always meant so much to me. Since a child I've loved school and learning. After high school, my college career began at the University of WI-Oshkosh. After 2 and 1/2 years there, I transferred back to my hometown of Milwaukee, and graduated from UWM with a B.S in Education. Since then, I've enjoyed teaching and serving children in my community. As we prepare for another year at the high school, I am excited to see all returning students and new faces. My goals as a College and Career Counselor are to help shape our scholars for bright futures and teach them life skills they'll use forever.
